Biography
Tanner Magee was born in Houma, Louisiana. After graduating from Vandebilt Catholic High School, he attended Louisiana State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters degree in Public Administration.
Tanner briefly worked in public regional planning before returning to Louisiana State University to earn his J.D. At LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law School. Tanner was recognized for his oral advocacy when he was selected to the Moot Court Board.
Tanner handles cases involving general liability, automobile and trucking liability, premise liability and workers' compensation.
Tanner serves as board member for Terrebonne General Health System and Vice Chairman of Vandebilt Catholic High School Board of Directors. Additionally he is a member of the Knights of Columbus and is active with the National Council of State Legislatures. Through his service as a State Legislator he was named an Aspen Institute Rodel Fellow, Class of 2019. He is a frequent speaker for the Terrebonne Bar Association as well as the Louisiana State Bar Association.
